Inter's Cordoba happy to end career in Indonesia

The 35-year-old centre-back has claimed he was flattered to finish his career in front of thousands of supporters of the club at a friendly at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium
Inter's Ivan Cordoba revealed that he was very happy to end his career in Indonesia after playing his final game for the Nerazzurri in a friendly game in the Asian nation. 

The Giuseppe Meazza outfit completed a four-day tour of Indonesia after grabbed a 4-2 victory over an Indonesia Selection at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.

"Amazing, it was very impressive, we were like to play at home," Cordoba told Inter Channel after witnessing the great enthusiasm of the local fans.

"A lot of mixed feelings in my head at the time and I can not hardly express it. I hope with this squad everything is going well and they can move on and do amazing things in the future.

 "Once again I want to thank the Inter and to Indonesia as well, who have given extraordinary support."

 Regarding of his future after retirement, Cordoba stated that he will be ready to help Inter in a coaching capacity if needed.

 "As I did as a player, I will be ready to dedicate myself entirely to the club. If there is a chance to do it, I will contribute," he concluded.

Cordoba made 455 appearances for the Italian giants, enjoying 13 successful years in Milan.
