The Argentine veteran feels that the Nerazzurri did enough to bag the full three points at the Giuseppe Meazza, and that they were unlucky not to find the net.
"The game was one-sided, it was all Inter. Their game was based entirely around counter-attacks, while we created chances to win the game but we didn't finish them," Zanetti was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"We gave away very little but sadly we've been penalised by the result, as we only picked up one point. It's disappointing but now we need to look forward and prepare for our game against Juventus.
"It's a plus that we have more time to prepare for the game because we're out of the cup competitions, but we didn't want to be in this situation."
Sunday's match against Juventus in Turin kicks off at 20.45CET.
