Pescara trainer Zdenek Zeman has stated that he would like to remain at the club and help them ascend to the top tier of Italian football after more than a two-decade-long absence.
The Delfini are currently well on course to achieve promotion with the side currently sitting at the summit of the Serie B table.
The coach had previously suggested his interest in coaching Inter, should Claudio Ranieri be dismissed, but has now declared his commitment to Pescara.
"My future? I hope to stay, in Pescara I feel great," Zeman stated at a meeting with local businessmen and entrepreneurs as quoted by Tuttomercato.
"We have 12 games to prove we play, as many say, the best football in Serie B. If we continue to do so then perhaps we can win the championship.
"I believe that we can reach the goal of the Serie A."
The Delfini welcome fellow promotion hopefuls Brescia at the Adriatico-Giovanni Cornacchia next Monday as they look to cement their position on top of the league.
