Parma have confirmed on their official website that they have completed the transfer of attacker Stefano Okaka from Roma on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent.

The Stadio Ennio Tardini side have only scored 24 goals in 23 games the current Serie A campaign, and head coach Roberto Donadoni was eager to sign another striker this winter.

The 22-year-old attacker came through the ranks of the Roma youth academy but has never managed to secure regular first-team action since making his official debut in September 2005.

Okaka has been sent out on loan to Modena, Brescia, Fulham and Bari in the past few seasons, and will now attempt to get his career back on track at Parma.
