AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is looking forward to Sunday's Serie A derby against arch-rivals Inter, and is keen to bag the full three points in order to end the Nerazzurri's ambitions to win the Scudetto.
Inter are currently trailing the reigning Serie A champions by eight points, and Boateng is determined to increase Milan's lead even further at the weekend.
"I really like the atmosphere in the city ahead of the derby. Everybody is excited and crazy about the game. We are the stronger team of the two and want to kick Inter out of the title race," Boateng was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
The attacking midfielder then went on to discuss Milan's reputation, and stated that he likes the team's wild, bad-boy image.
"I like it that we're called 'crazy Milan', as long as it's positive. There are some great players, who also have something bad in them. I'm thinking about [Mark] van Bommel, [Antonio] Cassano, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and myself."
Sunday's match at San Siro kicks off at 20.45CET.
