Palermo striker Agon Mehmeti has stressed that he is not the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as he feels the AC Milan star is on a different level.
Mehmeti joined Palermo from Malmo on a free transfer in January and has been likened to the former Barcelona star due to his ethnic background and previous club.
However, Mehmeti has made it clear that it's too early to compare him to Ibrahimovic.
"It's true that when I look at my career I'm the first one to think about Zlatan. It's way too early, though," Mehmeti was quoted as saying on the official Uefa website.
"Zlatan is a great champion and he has constantly proved it in club football and with the Swedish national team.
"I try to follow his example and play like him but at this point the only thing we have in common is that we both played for Malmo."
The 22-year-old could make his Palermo debut in the upcoming Serie A game against Napoli on Sunday.
