Ingo Haspel, the agent of Bayer Leverkusen attacker Andre Schurrle, has ruled out a move to Inter in the January transfer window as the player only recently joined his current club and has an ongoing contract.

A number of recent reports had suggested that the Nerazzurri are ready to make a move for the Germany international this winter, but Schurrle's agent has stressed that a transfer is unlikely to take place.

"I don't understand where these reports are coming from. Schurrle has a contract with Leverkusen until the summer of 2016 and has no intention of leaving the club," Haspel was quoted as saying by

"I haven't talked with anyone, but I don't know whether Inter have approached [Leverkusen sporting director] Rudi Voller. I doubt that they are ready to sell though. They paid a lot money to sign him from Mainz.

The 21-year-old Schurrle joined Leverkusen from Mainz in the summer transfer window.
