Rubin Kazan join Galatasaray in race for Inter's Diego Milito - report

Diego Milito appears to be one step closer to leaving Inter as Rubin Kazan have joined Galatasaray in the chase for the Argentine attacker's services, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The striker's future at the Giuseppe Meazza is in doubt as Inter are looking to offload some of their top earners and Rubin Kazan are closely monitoring his situation.

The Russian side were linked with Schalke's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar on Wednesday, but have reportedly turned their attention to Milito after the Netherlands international rejected a move to Kazan.

Milito has a contract with Inter that runs until the summer of 2014. He has previously been linked with Napoli and Genoa, but the interest of both Serie A sides seem to have gone cold in recent days.

The 32-year-old started his professional career with Racing and also wore the jerseys of Genoa and Zaragoza before joining Inter in 2009. Milito impressed in his first season as he won the treble with the San Siro outfit, but was unable to replicate his superb form in 2010-11.
