Inter are ready to cash in on full-back Maicon if an interested club meets their €20 million asking price, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.
Head coach Gian Piero Gasperini is said to have told club president Massimo Moratti that the Brazil international is not indispensable.
The 30-year-old defender was linked with a move to Real Madrid earlier this summer, but Jose Mourinho has since signed Fabio Coentrao to bolster his defensive options and it's unlikely that the Spanish side are willing to meet Inter's valuation.
Another possible destination for Maicon could be Manchester City as the Serie A side could be willing to include the former Monaco ace in a deal for Argentina international Carlos Tevez.
The latter is eager to leave Manchester City and Inter are thought to be hopeful of luring him to Serie A in the upcoming weeks. Inter recently held talks with Iranian superagent Kia Joorabchian to discuss a potential deal.
Maicon has a contract with Inter until the summer of 2012, but the Giuseppe Meazza side are open to a summer move as they have already signed a replacement for the right-back, having secured the services of fellow Brazilian Jonathan.
