Dutch midfielder Urby Emanuelson has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving AC Milan this summer and added that he's determined to become an important first-team player at San Siro.
Emanuelson stressed that he has self-belief that he will become a pivotal member of coach Massimiliano Allegri's squad, telling La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I am confident that I have what it takes to become an important player at Milan. You learn a lot tactically and physically in Italy. I just have to be patient and continue developing.
"Why would I leave Milan? I am not the type of player to leave again after only six months. I want to be part of the team at the start of this new cycle and want to pay back the club for the faith they have shown in me."
Emanuelson made nine Serie A appearances in his first season with the San Siro outfit.
