Amir Ruznic, the agent of Palermo midfielder Josip Ilicic, has stated that Serie A giants Inter have not yet made an approach to discuss a possible summer move to Giuseppe Meazza.
A number of recent reports suggested that the world champions are interested in signing the 23-year-old, but Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is keen to hold on the Slovenia international and has set a €20 million asking price.
Speaking of interest from elsewhere, Ruznic was quoted as saying by Notiziario Sportivo: "I honestly don’t know anything about a move to Inter. I don’t know if the two clubs have spoken, but I certainly haven’t been contacted by Inter.
"At the end of this week I will be meeting with president Maurizio Zamparini as we are talking about a contract extension for the player. If he has anything to tell me then, he will."
Ilicic joined Palermo from Maribor in the summer of 2010 and was one of the revelations of the Serie A season. His current contract runs until the summer of 2015.
