Palermo's Mauricio Pinilla on Inter radar - report

The Chilean international has apparently caught the interest of the Serie A powerhouse after a good season in Sicily
Highly rated attacker Mauricio Pinilla has attracted the intention of Italian giants Inter with his good performances for fellow Serie A side Palermo in the past couple of months, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

Inter are preparing for life after Diego Milito as the Argentina international is continually being linked with a move away from Giuseppe Meazza, and they have earmarked Pinilla as a potential replacement.

The 27-year-old started his professional career with Universidad de Chile and joined Inter in 2003, but after failing to break into the first team he departed and spent time at the likes of Celta Vigo, Sporting Lisbon and Vasco Da Gama before signing for Palermo in the summer of 2010.

Pinilla has since become an important first team player at the Sicilians and a return to the world champions could be a possibility.
