Inter turn attention to Bologna's Gaston Ramirez as cheaper alternative to Udinese's Alexis Sanchez - report

Gaston Ramirez could be on his way out of Bologna at the end of the season as Inter are pondering a swoop for the attacking midfielder, according to reports from Italy.

The San Siro outfit have been monitoring the progress of the young midfielder and appear to be convinced that Ramirez has what it takes to succeed at the club.

Inter are looking to add some more creativity to their squad in the summer transfer window and had initially set their sights on Udinese star Alexis Sanchez.

However, they are reluctant to meet Udinese's €30 million asking price for the Chile international and have therefore turned their attention to cheaper alternatives, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ramirez started his professional career with Penarol and joined Bologna in the summer of 2010. The Uruguay international has since developed into an important first team member at the club.

His current contract with Bologna runs until the summer of 2015 and offer in the region of €8 million could be needed to lure the 20-year-old away from his current club.
