Flamengo join race for AC Milan's Clarence Seedorf - report

The experienced midfielder has an expiring contract with Milan and has been linked with a number of clubs in the past couple of months, the most recent of which is Flamengo
AC Milan veteran Clarence Seedorf has attracted the interest of Brazilian outfit Flamengo with his outstanding performances for the Serie A table toppers in the past couple of months, according to SporTV.

The former Dutch international has an expiring contract with his current club and Milan are in no rush to open contract talks with Seedorf.

The 35-year-old's contract situation hasn't gone unnoticed elsewhere and he has caught the attention of several Bundesliga clubs, while he has also been linked with Corinthians.

Flamengo are now the latest club to have added their name in the race for his signature.

However, Seedorf isn't expected to make a decision on his future any time soon. The Dutchman revealed earlier this week that he wants to focus on winning the Serie A title with Milan before he starts thinking about his future.

Seedorf has climbed to 306th spot in the Castrol EDGE Rankings following his good form in recent months.
