Bologna have appointed Albano Guaraldi as the club's new president - their fifth supremo in ten months.
The club held a Board of Directors meeting yesterday afternoon in which outgoing president Marco Pavignani tended his resignation. Pavignani was seen as an interim patron, elected in mid January.
Guaraldi was elected with Maurizio Setti to be vice-president.
A statement on the team's official website revealed the decision.
"Over the course of the afternoon, Albano Guaraldi has been nominated as president of Bologna Fc 1909 and Maurizio Setti as vice-president.
"All the advisors applauded Marco Pavignani for a long period of time after tending his resignation to guarantee the future of the club, demonstrating his love of the side."
