Yuto Nagatomo Willing To Risk Inter Future By Appearing For Japan

Japan international Yuto Nagatomo has made it clear that he's ready to sacrifice playing time at Inter in order to appear in next week's charity match for the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Japan earlier this month.

"I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about missing out on playing time with Inter," Nagatomo was quoted as saying by Mainichi Daily News.

"But right now, I need to play for something more important than myself. I hope I can show the fans how important it is to not give up."

Nagatomo joined Inter from Cesena in January on a six-month loan deal, and leaving the club for a trip to Japan probably won't do his future at the Nerazzurri any good. However, the 24-year-old clearly has other priorities at the moment and is determined to help his beleaguered compatriots.
