Manchester City's Roberto Mancini: Mario Balotelli Is Not For Sale

Roberto Mancini has urged clubs interested in buying Manchester City's Mario Balotelli to think again, insisting the striker is not for sale.

The 20-year-old joined the Citizens last summer from Inter, but Italian reports have claimed Milan, the club he supported as a boy, are keen on bringing him back to Serie A.

But Mancini has brushed off suggestions City are a selling club, and added that he could spend more on players during the next transfer window.

"Many people say he is leaving? the fact they continue writing about Milan being interested and that there is an agreement doesn't bother me. At Manchester City we don't sell our best players, we buy them," Mancini told Sportmediaset.

Asked on what he thought of former Milan coach Leonardo joining Inter, Mancini suggested club rivalries don't impact on future decisions.

"By now the coach can go in any team, one year he could coach Inter, the next Juventus, the discourse is also valid for myself," he concluded.
