Genoa After Inter's Diego Milito - Report

Highly-rated attacker Diego Milito could be on his way out of Italian titleholders Inter at the end of the season as fellow Serie A side Genoa have shown an interest in signing the striker, if a report in Corriere dello Sport is to be believed.

Milito enjoyed a very successful season at Genoa in 2008-09 and earned himself a transfer to the Nerazzurri with his good performances for the Grifone.

The 31-year-old quickly became an important first-team member at Inter and played a major role in his side's Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League victories last season.

However, he has lost his spot in the starting XI this term under new head coach Leonardo, and the Argentine could decide to leave this summer, with Genoa keen to lure the striker back to Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The Italian champions are reportedly interested in signing Domenico Criscito from Genoa, and Milito could well be included in the deal if they opt to make a move for for the defender.
