Wolfsburg have reportedly set their sights on signing Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf during the summer transfer window.
According to Eurosport, the German side are keen to take advantage of the Dutchman's contract expiring at the end of the season, and have made initial contact over the possibility of the 34-year-old moving into the Bundesliga.
His performances for the Rossoneri have been far from convincing this campaign, and any discussions about a contract renewal have now been held off until April.
New Wolves coach Pierre Littbarski is said to also be interested in the former Real Madrid and Ajax midfielder.
Seedorf joined the Diavoli in 2002 from cross-town rivals Inter, and has been a constant feature in the Rossoneri line-up, having made 270 league appearances. He has won two Champions Leagues and a Scudetto with the side from via Turati.
