Roma Star Francesco Totti In Doubt For Inter Clash - Report

Totti may have to sit out the pivotal contest against rivals Inter.
Roma captain Francesco Totti may miss out on the crunch clash with Inter on Sunday evening, according to the club's official website.

The 34-year-old did not take part in Friday's training session due to a 'febrile illness,' meaning the sudden onset of fever, leaving the club legend's presence at San Siro for the posticipo in doubt.

Totti has been in and out of the Giallorossi line-up this season under coach Claudio Ranieri, but played all 90 minutes of the team's 1-1 draw with Brescia on Wednesday.

The World Cup 2006 winner recently underlined the importance of the match, saying it was imperative to get a result against the Nerazzurri in order to reach the club's ambitions this season.

Roma lie in fifth place in Serie A at the moment, nine points behind league-leaders AC Milan. 'Er Pupone' has five goals in 25 appearances in all competitions this season.
