Inter Captain Javier Zanetti: We Used Our Experience To Beat Napoli

Inter captain Javier Zanetti believes the Nerazzurri used all of their experience to navigate through a tricky fixture against Napoli in the Coppa Italia.

The Beneamata were able to absorb intense pressure for long periods, and edge through to the semi-finals via a penalty shoot-out.

"It was a suffered victory, but it was well deserved because both sides played a great match," the Argentine told Rai after the game. "My compliments go out to Napoli.

"We are accustomed to playing well in these big matches and we put it on show this evening. Now we will think about out next league match."

Zanetti also answered questions on the possibility of Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini moving to the reigning champions during the winter transfer window.

"Whoever arrives will have our help to be able to give their best for the side," he concluded.
