The 19-year-old Italian has been tipped to leave Old Trafford as he wants regular action.
Sir Alex Ferguson is said to have sanctioned a loan move, and follow-on reports claim Juventus, Lazio and other Serie A clubs are seeking the striker's talents.
"Federico will leave Manchester only on loan. Spaces are tight in England and so he would be happy to play in Italy," Bonetto told Lady Radio.
"Fiorentina would be good, but with Alberto Gilardino up front, there is no guarantee Macheda will play.
"In any case, we have not received any calls."
