Sampdoria's Antonio Cassano To Join Either Inter, Milan Or Juventus - Report

Milan, Inter and Juventus will fight to recover Antonio Cassano as he will leave Sampdoria next week once the Lega's arbitration panel reaches its verdict in the recsission case.

La Gazzetta dello Sport
is speculating over what outcome is most likely for the 28-year-old Italian, who has been excluded from the squad under president Riccardo Garrone's orders. A disagreement over Cassano's non-attendance of a charity even in October saw tension rise, and a bitter battle ensued.

The Lega's first hearing was on Friday, but it failed to yield a decision - after a reconciliation attempt between both parties collapsed - that is likely to arrive on Monday.

Punitive action could range from a fine to a rescission - the maximum penalty. Should the arbitration panel opt for rescission, then Cassano would be immediately free to join another club.

Fiorentina, Parma and Genoa have all pulled out of the running, leaving Italy's top three sides to open a dialogue for his services.

Milan and Juventus are on standby, but Inter remain favourites to snap him up.
