Vincenzo Iaquinta: Juventus Aren't Inferior To Milan, Inter Or Roma

Vincenzo Iaquinta believes that Juventus are more than capable of challenging for the Serie A title...
Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has apologised to the Bianconeri faithful for the club's exit from the Europa League at the hands of Lech Poznan, but insists they will make up for it by challenging for the Scudetto.

"I am sorry to be out of Europe. We could have gone forward, we had five draws, a win would have been enough to go through," he explained to Sky Sports.

"In Poznan we created a lot of opportunities, it's a shame, however on a field of snow and ice we couldn't play, the match should have been suspended. Now we must think about Serie A.

"Catania will be a difficult game, they are always a tough opponent, but we're ready and going there to take all three points."

Serie A has been very tight this season, with the top seven sides within eight points of each other in the standings.

"We're not inferior to Milan, Inter, and Roma. We've improved by leaps and bounds. Without the Europa League we can better focus on the championship. We are in the race and will play until the very end," suggested the ex-Udinese star.
