Totti looks set to be included in the starting XI against Palermo...

Roma striker Francesco Totti came off the bench to score the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 3-2 comeback victory in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday against Bayern Munich and is now set to regain his place in the starting XI versus Palermo, according to La Repubblica.

In training on Friday, coach Claudio Ranieri used Totti up front alongside Marco Borriello, with Jeremy Menez in behind, suggesting that 'Er Pupone' will be playing from the first whistle this weekend. This would leave Mirko Vucinic with a place on the bench.

Adriano, who has rarely featured since his arrival from Flamengo in the summer, missed the training session with the flu.

The Giallorossi have recovered from a dismal start to the season to rapidly climb up the standings. They now sit in fifth place with 22 points while their opponents Palermo linger just two points behind.

The two sides face off in Sicily at the Stadio Renzo Barbera on Sunday evening.
