Inter president Massimo Moratti doesn't feel Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is to blame for the high number of injuries this season.
Walter Samuel, Maicon, Cristian Chivu, Coutinho, MacDonald Mariga, Julio Cesar, Joel Obi and Diego Milito are all crocked.
A number of critics have said Mourinho caused burn-out last season after forcing his players to deliver a treble.
However, Moratti doesn't feel the coach charred his men.
"There is really no point saying that the team was squeezed by Mourinho and this should not be made an alibi," Moratti told the press as reported by Goal.com Italia.
Cuurent coach Rafa Benitez though has a different view. He said Mourinho got the most from his players - every drip of sweat.
"The team was squeezed 100 per cent and we know why certain things happened. Those who say certain [injuries] are due to the preparation are stupid," said the coach.
