Inter coach Rafael Benitez can revise and correct fortune after seeing his club veer off on a negative tangent, claims Cesare Prandelli.
Italy coach Prandelli has backed the Spaniard, who is facing a growing and overwhelming tide of oppression which, for critics, has placed his future in the firing line.
Inter have fragmented to become the theatre for competing influences as sack reports resonate around Milan following a sharp dip in form.
However, the troops of sadness will not crowd in to oust Benitez, insists the Italian.
"I hope Benitez is not playing for his job against Twente tonight," Prandelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I consider him to be a great coach and a person of good sense.
"Inter are paying for too many injuries and then after winning so much, they are probably tired after last year.
"I think Benitez is able to change it and he is the right man for Inter."
