Walter Zenga has revealed that Inter have not approached him to replace under-fire coach Rafael Benitez.
Zenga is one of several tacticians to have been linked with the Nerazzurri, who are nine points off the pace in Serie A.
Benitez is under pressure but Zenga believes that he will pull the Italian and European champions out of their current crisis.
“Benitez will soon resolve Inter’s problems,” Zenga told Sky Sport Italia. “The squad is strong and the players will figure out how to pull themselves out of this situation.
“Has someone called me? No, I haven’t received a call from anyone and I wouldn’t know what to say if they did, out of respect for Benitez.”
