Adriano Faces Uncertain Roma Future With January Exit Possible - Report

Adriano's Roma future looks far from certain as he continues to struggle in the battle to break into Claudio Ranieri's vision...
Roma striker Adriano could be on the January exit path as his long-term future is thrown into doubt.

The Brazilian striker was expected to build an elaborate and prosperous career, but problems with fitness have banished him to the margins of the squad.

La Gazzetta dello Sport
reports there are growing doubts that Adriano will remain a Roma player. He has only played twice this term - putting him at the bottom of the pile at Trigoria.

He has been locked out of the squad by Francesco Totti, Mirko Vucinic and Marco Borriello. Claudio Ranieri has also turned his eye off the Brazilian. For now Adriano faces playing friendlies with Roma's youth team rather than Champions League football.

Rumours speak of a damaged career in Serie A. Adriano has been linked with a return to Brazil and Ronaldo recently invited him to quit Roma and play for Corinthians.
