Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has praised the hard work done by his team-mates to keep Inter
at bay in their Derby della Madonnina clash this evening.
The Sweden international was the difference on the score board, and was most pleased that the side held on for the three points.
"The side played a great match, especially in the second-half and being a man down," the striker told Sky Sport post-match. "We had lots of heart, and scould have scored more goals.
"The team is playing well and everyone is working hard."
Ibrahimovic also explained the incident with Marco Materazzi, which required the defender to be stretchered off the pitch.
"I did not do it on purpose, as I aimed to win the ball. I asked for an apology, as these things happen in football," he concluded.
