Juventus Don't Need Sampdoria Ace Antonio Cassano - Luciano Moggi

Juventus have been told to steer clear from Sampdoria playmaker Antonio Cassano.

Luciano Moggi, a former Juventus transfer director, believes the troubled Italian is not what they need to connect them with success.

In fact Moggi has told the club to find a midfielder for the January transfer market.

"Antonio Cassano will not serve Luigi Del Neri's cause," Moggi wrote in his Tuttomercatoweb.com column.

"And, I cannot see him leave Sampdoria in the immediate future. He will stay there until the summer at least.

"However, Juventus need to find a midfielder who can play alongside Alberto Aquilani quickly, someone who can dictate the play.

"You don't need just one player, you need at least two."

Sticking with Aquilani, the player's agent has said Juventus have not moved to secure his services on a permanent basis from Liverpool.

Agent Franco Zavaglia told Calciomercato.it: "Aquilani is doing very well and he is being watched by everyone. But, Juventus have not moved to sign him for good."
