Antonio Cassano Will Pay Sampdoria €1 Million If They Retract Contract Rescission Application - Report

Antonio Cassano is taking rich steps to walk back into Sampdoria's good books.
Antonio Cassano is planning to pay his way out of trouble by giving Sampdoria €1 million if they retract their application for his contract rescission.

La Repubblica reports the player, who has publicly apologised for his outburst against president Riccardo Garrone, has offered a hoard of cash if the club makes a u-turn on their decision to apply for the termination of his contract with the Lega Serie A.

However, it's a trade-off Sampdoria are unwilling to accept as they have already ignored the player's plea for reconciliation.

Meanwhile, La Stampa claims he is willing to cut his wages by up to 50 per cent per annum in a last-ditch attempt at salvaging his career in Genoa.

Cassano currently earns around €2.7m per annum at Marassi.
