Fiorentina Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic Backs Adrian Mutu

Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu has coach's support after waiter fight.
Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has shown Adrian Mutu the fist of faith after his striker was involved in a violent altercation on Saturday.

Mutu is alleged to have broken the nose of a waiter in Florence night club 'Full Up' after a heated confrontation turned into blows.

But rather than reprove Mutu's punch, Mihajlovic has shown absolute confidence in his man, but suggested the hitman could have been more restrained and rational.

"In the case of Mutu I have not received news from the club and I don't know what happened between Mutu and the other man.

"I am the coach, and I want him back as soon as possible," Mihajlovic said waiting for Mutu's doping ban to expire.

"But I don't want to interfere with club decisions, I saw him on Sunday and we spoke. He apologised to everyone.

"We are all behind Mutu."

But there is a solution for Mutu's victim.

"We are sorry for the guy, maybe we can invite him to watch a match," added the coach.
