Italian giants Milan and Inter are ready to lay down a high status marker for Tottenham winger Gareth Bale.
Tuttomercatoweb.com reports Bale is being tracked vigorously by the Milanese clubs who are trying to show their taste and transfer ideas for the Welshman - attracted by his stellar hat-trick in the Champions League last week.
Bale is contracted to Spurs until 2014, but intense moves from either Italian side could see that change as they jostle for power in the January transfer game.
But, carving out a move will not be easy play. Tottenham have their fists clenched around Bale, and only a bid beyond €30 million couls losen their grip.
Opposition also lies in the form of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid who are also chasing him according to the Daily Mail.
