As Juventus’ form continues to blow hot and cold following the 0-0 stalemate against Bologna, sporting director Giuseppe Marotta looked to clear up the issue surrounding Milos Krasic who could be handed a ban by based on video evidence after his tumble in the penalty area earned the Bianconeri a dubious penalty.
“To talk about anti-sporting conduct seems a little harsh to me,” affirmed Marotta in response to the critics over the Serbian’s dubious fall in the box to Sky Sport.
“[Milos] Krasic is an honest lad and I don’t think he deliberately looked to con the referee. He is fouled a number of times each week and it’s quite possible that he anticipated the contact of the defender before actually submitting any.
“In the end the penalty was missed so I think ultimately justice was served.”
