Bologna Coach Alberto Malesani Pleased With 'Justice' After Saved Juventus Penalty

Bologna's Alberto Malesani claims that Viviano's save ensured justice against Juventus as it should not have been a spot-kick.
Bologna coach Alberto Malesani was pleased that 'justice' had been carried out in the 0-0 draw with Juventus on Sunday.

The Turin giants earned a dubious penalty through Milos Krasic, but Vincenzo Iaquinta's tame effort was saved by goalkeeper Emilano Viviano.

"The penalty? I saw immediately it should not have been given," he was quoted as saying by Sky.

Malesani recalled another incident from when he was coach of Parma back in 2000, when defender Fabio Cannavaro had a goal controversially disallowed against the Bianconeri.

"Against Juve it is a typical episode that has happened in my career. That goal from Cannavaro would have put us back in the Champions League. These kind of things change football matches, but today there was proof someone looked down on us and justive was served. No matter, it went well," concluded the 56-year-old.
