Inter got more than they bargained for from Argentina's 1-0 loss to Japan as injuries to Diego Milito and Esteban Cambiasso has left them to pick up the pieces.
Ole.com reports Cambiasso had to come off after 44 minutes and he was replaced by Mario Bolatti and he reported severe pain after taking a knock with the injury believed to be a muscular problem.
Milito was also left hobbling as he was treated with an ice pack applied to his left leg. The extent of their injuries are unknown, but Inter will not be impressed.
The Nerazzurri clash with Cagliari next Sunday week, and then take on Tottenham in the Champions League a few days later.
On a positive note, Sky Sport Italia reports Javier Zanetti has returned to training after recovering fully from a Pneumothorax.
