Real Madrid & Barcelona Are Told To Forget About Palermo's Javier Pastore

Real Madrid and Barcelona will not be getting Javier Pastore, claims Palermo chief Maurizio Zamparini.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is leading the rebellion against Real Madrid and Barcelona's interest in Javier Pastore.

Popularity has grown for Pastore with both Spanish giants keeping a firm watch over his progress at Palermo.

But Zamparini has turned his back on offers, and he won't change his stance, fuelling the anti-transfer feeling.

"He has four years on his contract and I dream about an even stronger Palermo in future," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Barcelona are ready with €40 million? I don't want to think about it. I value my players.

"I already rejected €25m from Real Madrid."

On Monday Pastore said he is happy at Palermo.
