Agent Reveals Palermo Star Javier Pastore Has Not Had Any Contact With Inter

Pastore is not on his way to Inter at the moment, according to his agent.
The agent of Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore has denied his client has had any contact with Inter, but would not rule out a move in the future.

The Argentina playmaker has been linked with the Nerazzurri in the press, with former club hero Sandro Mazzola suggesting the Serie A champions should sign the 21-year-old.

"We have never talked about the player with Inter, not now or beforehand, but anything can happen," Marcelo Simonian explained to fcinternews.it on Monday, when asked if Pastore would be moving to the Giuseppe Meazza in the next couple of seasons.

Before his switch to Sicily, Pastore reportedly had a number of admirers, but the player's representative has suggested most of it was journalistic fabrication.

"[Palermo] were the first team interested in signing Javier, from the very outset," he revealed.

Pastore has impressed since joining the Rosanero in the summer of 2009 after a successful loan spell at Huracan, with his solid showings earning him a place in Argentina's 2010 World Cup squad.
