Inter coach Rafael Benitez has already put the 2-1 win over Udinese behind him as he focuses on next week's Champions League tie.
Lucio and Samuel Eto'o scored either side of Antonio Floro Flores goal for the visitors to ensure the Nerazzurri relieve any early-season pressure with a win at San Siro. And now it's onwards and upwards for Benitez who is recasting the mindset for Europe.
"It was important to win tonight. I want to thank the fans. The team needed help and the fans were there for us," he tols Sky Sport Italia after the game.
"For me we played well from the start, but we lost control of the midfield shortly after. They countered well and we lost a goal, after that we looked nervous. But we were able to pull it back.
"We played well in the first half. But when they scored it became difficult. In the second half we pulled together and were able to get a result.
"Milan? I am not interested today. I want to go home and focus on the Champions League game next week."
