Milan defender Kakhaber Kaladze is being closely monitored by Dutch club Vitesse, according to reports emanating from the peninsula.
The Georgian international has another year to go on his contract with the Rossoneri, but the player may leave in order for the club to cash in on him, according to Itasportpress.it.
Vitesse owner Merab Jordania is an old friend of Kaladze and was formerly the agent of Milan's long time servant, who joined the Rossoneri in 2001 from Dynamo Kiev. Jordania has announced that reinforcements will be presented in the coming days.
Kaladze struggled to find game time last season under then coach Leonardo, only playing a handful of matches.
The 32-year-old has also been linked with a return to Dynamo Kiev and a move to Panathinaikos.
Vitesse are also said to be in advanced stages of a deal to sign Afonso Alves according to NIS, while showing interest in Chelsea owned Slobadan Rajkovic, who has spent the last three years on loan at both PSV and FC Twente.
