Brescia have been associated with a move for Juventus pair Mauro Camoranesi and Fabio Grosso by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Neither Camoranesi nor Grosso is expected to be involved in the first team picture with the Bianconeri this term and both have been linked with a number of switches away from the club in recent weeks.
For newly promoted Brescia, signing either would be something of a coup as the club feel they are short on know-how, and the streetwise nature of both players would a major plus to the side who finished third in Serie B last term.
Initially Brescia asked Juve if they could have the players on a temporary basis, chancing their arm by asking for a season-long loan deal for the duo. The Turin outfit have already rejected this offer because they believe the players can be sold, allowing them additional spending power before the close of the summer transfer window.
It is suggested, however, that should the Rondinelle contribute a high proportion of the players’ wages a loan deal could be brokered.
