Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's continued presence at the club has reportedly led to stumbling blocks regarding the Rossoneri's summer transfer market campaign, according to Datasport.
The Dutch goal-scorer had an inconsistent debut season at San Siro and Milan are aiming to sell the former Real Madrid man in order to use the funds to reinforce their attacking options. However, despite being linked with the likes of Lazio, Benfica, and most recently Schalke, no move has materialised for the 27-year-old.
Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been rumoured to move to San Siro this week, but potential moves for Gio dos Santos or Lukas Podolski depend on Huntelaar's sale.
The Rossoneri paid €15 million for the ex-Ajax star last August. He scored seven goals in 25 appearances in Serie A and constantly found himself on the bench as Marco Borriello was preferred in attack.
