Italy coach Cesare Prandelli will announce his squad for Tuesday's friendly game against Cote d'Ivoire on Friday, the FIGC (Italian FA has confirmed.

And there are plenty of surprises expected to fill up his list with Mario Balotelli and Antonio Cassano hopeful of getting the nod.

Italy will meet at their Coverciano base on Sunday night, where preparations will begin for the clash at Upton Park in London.

They will then fly out from Florence on Monday evening.

It's Prandelli's first official game since he took over from Marcello Lippi after the World Cup, and it will give him the chance to freshen up the Azzurri and prepare for the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Estonia on September 3 and the Faroe Isles four days later.
