Milan Tracking Anderlecht Midfielder Lucas Biglia - Report

The Argentinian midfielder has reportedly attracted the interest of Milan...
Argentinian midfielder Lucas Biglia could be on his way out of reigning Belgian champions Anderlecht after Serie A outfit Milan have shown an interest in signing him, according to a report in La Repubblica.

The Rossoneri are in the market for a new midfielder following the possible departure of Gennaro Gattuso to Olympiacos and new head coach Massimiliano Allegri supposedly sees Biglia as a good replacement for the Italian midfielder.

Biglia joined Anderlecht from Independiente in the summer of 2006 and the 24-year-old has since developed into a key player at Paars-Wit. He has made well over 100 league appearances for the Brussels side so far.

The Anderlecht playmaker has been compared to Andrea Pirlo for his style of play and has represented Argentina at under-20 level. He has yet to make his debut for the Albiceleste's senior side.

Milan are believed to be ready to make a €6 million offer for the highly rated playmaker, who has a contract with Anderlecht until the summer of 2012.
