Juventus Open To Offers For Felipe Melo

The Bianconeri will consider bids for the midfield hardman...
Juventus will consider any offers for midfielder Felipe Melo as the Brazilian may not be in the plans of new coach Luigi Del Neri.

Melo arrived in a €25 million deal last summer after a successful stint with Fiorentina, but turned out to be a disappointment in his first season in Turin.

"Melo's situation is the same as other players at the club," revealed sporting director Giuseppe Marotta to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Hence, we are on guard to evaluate all eventual offers."

Recently, Melo has been linked in a swap move to Arsenal in exchange for left-back Gael Clichy.

The 27-year-old was recently one of the 'villains' in Brazil's World Cup exit. In the quarter-final loss to the Netherlands, he was partially responsible for the first goal conceded and also picked up a red card after a stomp on winger Arjen Robben. The Selecao lost the match 2-1.
