Italian international Fabio Grosso could be on his way out of Serie A titans Juventus as Europa League holders Atletico Madrid have shown an interest in luring the defender to Spain, if a report by Tuttosport is to be believed.
The Rojiblancos looked very vulnerable at the back last term and are therefore looking to add some new defenders to their squad and the left back position is one of head coach Quique Sanchez Flores' top priorities.
Atletico were previously linked with Deportivo La Coruna's Filipe and Olympique Marseille star Taye Taiwo, but the Liga outfit have now apparently turned their attentions to the 32-year-old Grosso.
Italy's 2006 World Cup hero appears to be surplus to requirements at Juventus, as head coach Luigi Del Neri is eager to sign a new left back. Therefore, Grosso could very well decide to leave the Bianconeri this summer.
Grosso's current Juventus deal is due to expire in the summer of 2012, but the Turin side are ready to cash in on the defender if a good offer comes in this transfer window.
