Sampdoria director Sergio Gasparin has revealed that talks between the Blucerchiati and Milan over goalkeeper Marco Storari have stalled.
Gasparin also admitted that Cagliari shot-stopper Federico Marchetti is out of the club's price range.
"The situation remains like the media have reported," Gasparin said to TMW.
"There is an interest on our behalf, but there is also a will by Milan to keep Storari.
"As for an offer, it is nowhere near the €4 million that the media have reported.
"I hope that we can resolve the issue quickly. The player's willingness is what will count.
"As for Marchetti, he is almost impossible to capture, as he is too expensive for our budget," he added.
