Inter And Benfica Line Up Swap Deal Involving Ramires And Ricardo Quaresma – Report

Nerazzurri set to swoop for Eagles midfielder…
According to reports in Italy, Inter officials have travelled to Lisbon to meet their Benfica counterparts and discuss a possible swap deal involving Eagles midfielder Ramires and Ricardo Quaresma.

Calciomercato report that Inter coach Jose Mourinho is intent on introducing some more steel to his midfield and has identified Ramires as his primary target.

The Brazilian arrived in Lisbon this past summer from Cruzeiro following a break-through season that saw him graduate to Dunga’s Selecao, providing cover on the right side of midfield for an onrushing Maicon.

Quaresma meanwhile, has struggled to reproduce the scintillating form that earned him a big money move to Serie A from FC Porto and is said to be keen on a second return to Portugal.

Reports suggest the Nerazzurri may also have to provide a substantial transfer fee to seal the deal.
