The agent Bologna custodian Emiliano Viviano believes his client would immediately jump at the chance to play at Fiorentina if the opportunity should arise.
But Renzo Contratto confirmed that the 24-year-old would more than likely stay at the Rossoblu next season, after rumours were circulating he would join Inter, one of the clubs that co-own his playing contract.
"Emilio would quickly go to Florence if asked," Contratto told Radio Toscana. "He even called his daughter Viola [like the colours of Fiorentina].
"But at the moment, he is co-owned by Bologna and Inter, and with Fiorentina there is absolutely no contact with them.
"It is a shame because even [current Viola goalkeeper Sebastien] Frey seems like he may not want to be there, and it is the right time for the side to look elsewhere," he concluded.
